A bit of luck that this cowl match my new sweater. |
A good thing cannot be repeatet to often. At least if it is about eating chocolate and knitting a really comfy sweater. In order to get my diet on the track I chose the fiber this time...
The woollen fiber that is. It all started with my green
Kermit sweater. I needed another one in a more suitable color for me. Not that green is far out, but a better one.
This time I ended up with the color teal (there are no word for the color in norwegian - most people will call it petrol, which it is not).
Teal is called an universial color - it is suppose to fit most persons. You should try it out and see how amazing it is that teal makes so many people looking good.

This scarf was knitted to go with the sweater. |
Anyway, this is knitted in Pt2 from Rauma. Allthough a lot of knitters claim that this yarn is similar to Finull - it is not.
Well, you can knit them together without a lot of difference in your garment. But Pt2 is a bit looser spun and is a little thinner.
That actually came even more to my attention when I knitted my sweater. It came out smaller than my previous.
But, I am so pleased with it. I think it is kind of boring just knitting something i one color.
So I added a few orange stripes to it by spit splicing orange yarn. Very useful technique and it makes a statement without getting too loud.
I have made a lot of moderations to fit for the yarn I have used - they are all listed up on my project page on Ravelry.
So here I am with my second sweater this year. And guess what? I am soon finished with a really red one as well. That - I am looking so much forward to. Stay tuned...
